Thank you, Village of Bayville and all of the Bayville and Bayville area residents that made our first day at the Bayville Greenmarket a success! Herbes de Bayville offers only local, organic, fresh and dried herbs to compliment the fruits and vegetables you purchase at the market. Our menu of offerings will change through the season, offering you whatever is ready for picking the day of market, as well as potted herbs, and garden perennials, proven winners in Bayville, for your planting beds.
We always have our signature "Herbes de Bayville", a dried herb mixture based on the classic herbes de Provence mixture of thyme, oregano, basil, sage, rosemary and lavender.
We will have recipes and suggestions for using all of our culinary products.
We also offer Herbal Bath products including sea salt bath soaks and scrubs using organic sea salt and herbal essential oils.
    We love all things GREEN!
Come see us every Saturday to see what is new! And thank you for supporting the Bayville Greenmarket.

    Dear Valerie,
Do you also carry herb flavored olive oils? Does anyone know if "Herbs de Bayville" carry the olive oils?

You can contact us directly at info@herbsdebayville.com and we can discuss flavored oils. Many people want flavored olive oil, but to really get the herbal flavor, lighter oils can be used. we also make flavored vinegars. both processes will take a few weeks for proper flavor development, so let's discuss this!
        thanks

Thank you for providing the green market to Bayville. All of the environmental initiatives are welcomed and applauded.
Now I pray that the Mayor and Village Trustees will please be consistent, and protect our children from the environmental danger of the cell tower next to the school by finding a more suitable location.

    Most sincerely,

    Jo-Tina DiGennaro

Now that the school year has come to an end, the parents who fear for their child/children's health can rest easy for the next 10 weeks. Just make sure the children don't use cell phones, computers, or microwave ovens over the summer break.

Went to the green market the other day, and just wanted to say thanks to the village for a great place. The fruit and veggies are wonderful. You can even get cookies, eggs, herbes, soy candles, even art work. I think you should stop by and see.

Herbs de Bayville will have a fresh batch of basil pesto this weekend, August 2,2008.
We make the basil pesto without cheese (and salt free!) so you can freeze the container, if necessary. 1/2 lb container is $8
We will also be offering liter bottles of Gazpacho, a super fresh cold veggie soup, also salt free. A liter will serve to as entree, 4 as first course, or many in "shot" glass with a cold shrimp garnish.
We will also be offering our usual fresh cut herbs from the garden, our signature dried mixes "Herbes de Bayville", Jambalaya Mix", as well as Tarragon Vinegar, windowsill herb gardens so you can pick your own, and hardy perrenial transplants of guaranteed Bayville garden plants.
Looking forward to seeing you Saturday. Herbs de Bayville will not be at market on August 9th.

    Hi everyone -

It's a shot in the dark but I think I lost my cell phone at the green market today - wondering if anyone has found a silver crappy verizon impulse prepaid phone. Or maybe I dropped it somewhere when I was on my scooter in cat hollow. If anyone finds it can they please return it to me @ 9 Seabreeze lane???? Like I said,I know it's a shot in the dark that an angel will find it and also see this posting on this website. Maybe Bayville should have a lost and found?????

I heard from someone that parking was a problem last weekend due to the bank construction. Anyone know if that is completed yet?
