For heaven's sake, he is the PRESIDENT of our children's country! Please remember he was elected by a LANDSLIDE, unlike Bush who *stole* the second election from Gore (Hail to the Thief!)There is nothing inappropriate about school kids watching their president speak. I rmember fieldtrips to Sagamore Hill in elementary school. I remember when I attended LVHS ('78) we had a homework assignment to watch President Carter's State of the Union adress or other special address about the energy crisis.. which we were seeing in real life with cars lined up at the gas pump to beat price hikes, dads demanding we turn down the heat in the house etc.
No protests then despite the fact he was a flaming "Liberal".
Protesters- you're all a bunch of sore losers.. or closet racists, perhaps?

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Michael Trama today. I and my family send our condolences to his wife and all of his family, thinking particularly of his three little children. He was a strong community member and will be badly missed.

as a taxpaying resident of Bayville, NY, I do not want the Mayor's "dirty cell phone money". I just demand what is fair and legal - the land should either be given back to the Harrison Estate, or the cell towers removed. Victoria, you cannot have it both ways.
Shame on you.

i have no idea how in gods name you would allow such an embarrassment of a company into your chamber. Not just allowing but continuing their membership. After watching shame on you last night i actually feel bad for your fellow members after the chamber logo appeared on the screen. It is an tragedy that businesses that are trying to get positive publicity from this type of organization are dragged into this type of mess. The Executive officers which ironically include the owner of this company should especially be embarrassed that they allow this.

i would think the roads were damaged because of the extreme winter we had. snow, ice and plows tend to damage older roads.
i've noticed many roads outside of Bayville have also been damaged. i'm sure the county and village have noticed.
it is good that citizens do take the time to contact them. thanks Carl.

Its attitudes and comments like yours that are wasteful and meaningless. No I do not have much, but I think is important to have the roads repaired.
